Order Waiving Restrictions On Chiropractic School Schedules And Class Lengths

The Department of Consumer Affairs (Department) issued DCA-20-37 on July 28, 2020. The waiver issued by the Department in response to the Board of Chiropractic Examiner’s request does two things:

  1. Removes the requirement that lecture classes be at least 50 minutes long; and,
  2. Removes the requirement that schools may only operate between five and six days per week, and that instructional time must be between 30 and 35 hours per week.
